Tricia brings more than 15 years of consumer public relations experience to Fitzgerald Petersen Communications. She develops strategy, manages budgets and executes creative public relations programs that can include media relations, product announcements, press and analyst tours, broadcast and print media tours. In addition, she guides clients in their corporate social responsibility and social media programs, creates and executes special events and provides strategic planning and crisis counsel. Current and previous clients include Pioneers Volunteer Network, ACTIVATE beverages, The Rock N’ Roll Denver Marathon, Lee Reedy Advertising, the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Tricia is a recipient of several PRSA Gold and Silver Picks for creative program development and execution of events and programs for her work on clients Qdoba Mexican Grill and the Colorado Health Department’s Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response in her role with GroundFloor Media.
Previously she was at Ogilvy Public Relations for more than six years where she drove successful public relations programs for a variety of consumer marketing clients such as BizRate.com, Case Logic, Celestial Seasonings, Cooking.com, eCash Technologies, Echostar Communications, eNutrition.com, eToys.com, General Motors, Johnsonville Sausage, Jones International University, Pizza Hut, Quiznos Sub, Orange Glo International, Verizon Wireless and Warren Miller Films.
Before joining Ogilvy Public Relations, Tricia served as a public relations executive and copywriter for DNA Advertising in Denver, where she managed several consumer accounts, including PageNet Pagers, Culligan Mile-Hi Water Systems, Boulder Gear Ski and Outdoor Apparel and Ellen Tracy Private Eyes Sunglasses, a division of Gargoyles Sunglasses.
Tricia began her career as an assistant account manager for Todd Robert Murphy Marketing Communications, Inc., in Milwaukee, where she developed and implemented strategic public relations and marketing plans for large special events, including Milwaukee Irish Fest, Carriage House, a branch of Ethan Allen Furniture, and Roundy’s, the nation’s third largest food wholesaler and distributor.
Tricia received a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee. She volunteers her time with the Kathy Bennett Foundation of Hope, an organization that helps educate women about measures they can take to prevent ovarian cancer. Tricia enjoys hiking, biking and taking long walks with her husband Dave, daughter Ayla and son Layten.
